Liability Waiver

This Liability Waiver (“Waiver”) is entered into between the guest (“Guest”) and property owners of Breezy's Lake Lodge (“Property”), Steve and Pamela Briere, ("Owners") located on Eagle Lake in Vermilion Bay, Ontario, Canada.
By making a reservation, all Guests acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk
The Guest understands that staying at a lakefront cottage involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Slippery surfaces, uneven terrain, docks, and rocks

Swimming, boating, fishing and water activities

Wildlife encounters and insects
-
Use of fire pits, BBQs, and outdoor equipment

Use of kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, or other provided items
The Guest voluntarily assumes all risks associated with staying at the Property.
2. Release of Liability
The Guest releases and holds harmless [Your Cottage Name], the property owners, and their agents from any and all claims, liabilities, injuries, damages, or losses arising from:

Accidents or injuries on or near the Property

Use of the lake, dock, equipment, watercraft, sauna, or fire pit

Weather, natural conditions, wildlife, or unforeseen hazards
This release applies to all members of the Guest’s group.
3. Personal Property
Guests are responsible for securing their own belongings. The owners are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
4. Supervision of Children
Children must be supervised at all times and especially near the lake, dock, and watercraft.
5. No Lifeguard on Duty
Guests understand that water activities are at their own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty.
6. Condition of the Property
Guests agree to notify the owner of any hazards or damages discovered during their stay.
7. Agreement
By booking and staying at the Property, the Guest(s) agrees to all terms in this Waiver.
